Wandsworth is a district of South West London within the London Borough of Wandsworth. Named after the River Wandle, Wandsworth itself is situated right at the point where this river meets the Thames.

Built in 1851, Wandsworth Prison is a Category B men’s prison. It is the largest prison in London and one of the largest in Europe, with a similar capacity to Liverpool Prison, this doesn’t reflect in house prices or people moving into the area.
